Shimano XTR 8000 RA - Super Baitrunner Carp Reels

The XTR 8000 RA is one of the latest reels to join Shimano's Baitrunner family. It’s strong and lightweight hybrid body, serious cranking power, strong rear drag and large spool capacity have made it a favourite with anglers everywhere.

The XTR 8000 RA’s cold forged aluminium AR-C line management spools utilise the latest technology to make it a top casting tool whilst reducing weight. It features the Aero Wrap II system with two speed line lay that makes sure the line peels effortlessly from the spool, increasing distance and accuracy.

The XTR 8000 RA is not just a casting reel, its top class gearing system, super precise drag, 7 AR-B shielded ball bearings and double handle make this reel a pleasure to use when playing fish and retrieving rigs. Ce nouveau modèle récupère plus vite que l'ancien avec un ratio de 4.9 :1 et permet de travailler les plus grosses carpes avec beaucoup de plaisir (« - crancking power» - + puissant frein arrière). Le bâti hybride est solide mais léger, avec une superbe finition argentée et gris foncé .

Même si les moulinets " - grande bobine" - ont été la grande tendance de ces dernières années pour la distance supplémentaire qu'ils apportent aux lancers, il ne faut pas sous-estimer la performance du nouveau Super Baitrunner XTR: bobine AR-C en aluminium forgé à froid, « - Aero Wrap II» avec double vitesse d'oscillation pour des lancers plus longs et plus précis, particulièrement sur une canne carpe avec anneaux de depart de 40mm.
