SQUID RANGE

Squid has been used within the aquaculture industry for many years due to its ability to supply many of the key nutrient requirements for fish. Whilst this alone makes squid an excellent ingredient, the fact it's also so naturally attractive makes it a truly outstanding natural bait ingredient as it really encourages fish to feed.

This unique range of squid-based products contains baits that supply the nutrients and the potent attractors supplied by squid, giving the angler a real ‘natural’ edge in their quest to increase their catch rate in many different angling situations.

SQUID WAFTERS

Dark brown, durable 10x14mm wafting dumbell hookbaits glugged in our highly attractive, salty, Liquid Squid Compound.

Supplied in pots of 50, these year-round hookbaits are superb when used with PVA bags and sticks containing Squid Pellets or Bag Mix.

Squid is a ‘cephalopod’ that is present in many of our seas and oceans and is widely used in both human food and animal feed, providing a valuable source of protein, amino acids and zinc, magnesium, selenium and vitamins. 

It has been very popular as a bait ingredient or flavour profile used by carp anglers for many years and, squid meat particularly, is an irresistible, naturally occurring food source for fish, which is excellent for tempting large pressured carp and other species.

Usage Tip:  

Try fishing them over PVA bags of Squid Bag Mix or Squid Pellets moistened with Liquid Squid Compound.
